There’s a lot to learn when building Power Automate flows – some things are easy to understand, others need a bit of studying, and some come with experience (known as the trial-and-error approach). The idea behind the training sessions is to speed up this learning process.

The trainings are designed as a 1-hour Teams calls on a specific Power Automate related topic and can be combined into a single session. For now it’s the following trainings.

3. Fundamentals of Reliable Approval Processes

Goal: Participants will master basic techniques to create simple and functional approval workflows.

• Typical scenarios: leave requests, purchase approvals, etc.
• Using the built-in Approvals app and its capabilities
• Key components of an approval process
• Fundamentals of maintainable approval workflows

4. Advanced Approval Processes

Goal: Demonstrate how to handle complex scenarios requiring multi-level or dynamic approvals.

• Dynamic approver selection, multi-level approvals
• Principles of reminders and delegation
• Storing approval history for audits
• Restartability of approval processes

5. How to Generate Documents Using Power Automate

Goal: Participants will learn how to automatically create and distribute documents (e.g., contracts, confirmations, reports).

• Word templates
• Creating dynamic Word documents
• Generating PDFs from Word
• Automatic document naming and storage
• Document distribution

6. Reuse your Power Automate Flows as Templates

Goal: Participants will learn how to create reusable and easily deployable flow templates to simplify management and deployment across teams or the entire organisation.

• Configuration options inside and outside the flow
• Preparing the environment
• Using templates and moving between environments
